About the role:

You will be leading the building of and management of the Business Development arm of our agency, bringing in new prospects to propel our business even further.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop a growth strategy focussing on both financial gain and customer satisfaction
  2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  3. Arrange business meetings with potential clients
  4. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  5. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  6. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  8. Build long-term, profitable relationships with new and existing customers

Skills and experience needed:

  1. Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role, ideally in a digital marketing agency, marketing agency, event agency environment.
  2. Proven sales track record
  3. Experience in client management is a plus
  4. Proficiency in English. Proficiency in Malay and Chinese is a plus
  5. Market knowledge of the Marketing industry
  6. Communication and negotiation skills
  7. Ability to build rapport
  8. Time management and planning skills
  9. Self – motivated
